The chains formed by Karin are an incomplete version of the Adamantine Sealing Chains.

Usage[]

Much like its counterpart, it can be used offensively, as well as can neutralise a target by binding and nullifying their chakra on contact.[1] When used against Suigetsu Hōzuki, it sent him flying quite a distance away, leaving him incapacitated and his body in a jelly-like state.[1] Despite lacking the combative power of its counterpart, Karin was able to use this technique to destroy most of Tobi's giant wooden statue and its many hands.

Despite not initially having much control over this ability, Karin seems capable of manipulating the size of her chains to fit the situation.

Fanon Variations[]

After Kodoku attained this along with multiple Uzumaki Jutsu, being a Senju - relative of the clan. He had the ability to combine these chains with Lightning Release, able to imbue powerful electrocuting and paralyzing power on contact, or releasing thunderbolts towards opponent, albeit on a weaker scale than the former.
