Background
Akira Kaname is the result of the combination of the DNAs of Sasuke Uchiha, Hikaru Kurosaki, and Seireitou Hyuga. He unknowingly destroyed his creator, Kabuto Yakushi when he was 2 years old. The explosion catapulted him into the Land of Lightning, where he met his caretaker, Yoruichi Kaname, a ninja from the Hidden Cloud, when he was 3 after living off the streets. This explains his origin,seeing as he has no biological parents. Yoruichi gave him the name Akira when she found him. Akira was shy at first, but he then followed Yoruichi everywhere, like a little brother to an older sister. After he and Yoruichi fled the Land of Lightning due to an overtake of the country by Pain, Akira and Yoruichi found themselves in a small rough town in the Land of Waves. After 3 years passed, some slavers came and captured Yoruichi. Akira then fled to the Land of Fire by Yoruichi's orders. He took the ocarina that Yoruichi dropped when she was captured, and his own ocarina. After traversing the Land of Fire for a while, he was found by the recently announced Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki. Akira was taken into Naruto's family, and he's lived in the Hidden Leaf ever since.
Due to Hikaru's DNA in Akira's veins, Akira also has a kekkei genkai and the legendary ocular jutsu, the Kagirinaigan.
He is also the teammate of Sora Uzumaki, and Rangiku Uchiha. He is disliked by many of the villagers just as Naruto was, because of his lack of background, for he didn't know his origins. He has also been seen with a hawk that he raised. The hawk was later killed when he tried to invade the Land of Spires prison. When he escaped, another hawk came to him, later to be revealed as a fragment of Kaname's spirit. He then realized that the Hawk was an Oath, during Naruto Shadows of Time.
He mostly keeps to himself, and rarely trusts anyone. He spends his days training, or playing an ocarina he got from Kaname. Many of the female students and ninja are captivated by some of the music he plays. His ocarina is used for his alternate form of genjutsu. Sora asks why he plays the ocarina when not training. Akira said that it reminded him of when Kaname played the ocarina for him. He said that he remembered the beautiful music that Kaname played. Sora asked what had happened to Kaname to make Akira end up in the hidden Leaf. Akira said that Kaname was taken as a slave to a horrid country, the Land of Spires. Akira says that Kaname communicated to him through telepathy telling him that all is well. Akira tells Sora that his purpose to live is to save Kaname from those slave drivers in the Land of Spires.
He later saves Kaname from the Land of Spires, and currently lives with her in Konohagakure.
He loves Hikari Uzumaki, but he is too shy to talk to her.
He has fought against the Hell Knight, and he was able to defeat the monster, sort of. In an alternate timeline, he has taken a liking to Matsuko Sonokuma. It is unknown of the status of their relationship.
Appearence
Akira looks like Sasuke when he graduated from the academy, if not the same. He also has eyes that resemble a Sharingan. He is 5 feet and 8 inches tall at the academy in The Revenge of Pain, and 6 feet and 4 inches in Naruto Fanon Story: Even Ninja Need a vacation.
