This jutsu allows its user to erect an impenetrable forcefield of white light around himself/herself. While inside the barrier no harm can come to the user and all attacks are deflected. including genjutsu. If used while under the influence of a genjutsu the genjutsu is broken. The downside to this jutsu, is that in addition to the large amount of chakra required to activate and maintain this jutsu, a large portion of the user's life force is also required to use this jutsu.

Everytime the user activates this jutsu their lifespan is cut by at least five years. By pouring even more chakra and life force into this jutsu it can be extended to protect others, even an entire village. When used in conjunction with Angelic Reanimation Jutsu the side effects are no problem because all the lost life force can be replenished.
