Apparition Sealing Method (封怪法印, Fūke Hōin) is a refined version of the Sharingan's inherent influence over tailed beasts. More specifically, this technique allows the user to delve into the subconscious of an individual, incite the secondary entity within their subconscious, and draw out the power derived from said entity. While such an effect would be most notably useful against jinchūriki, it is also applicable against individuals who are hosting the soul of a separate individual within themselves. While seemingly counterproductive if applied against an enemy, if used tactically it is possible to cause a target to effectively go berserk. This is especially true for the average jinchūriki, whose tailed beast's aren't willingly collaborating with them.

As suspected of a dōjutsu, the practitioner must make direct eye contact with the target to attempt a suppression of this manner. Notably, the effects of the Apparition Sealing Method are temporary and do not constitute an actual sealing technique. The duration and effectiveness of this technique depends primarily on the disparity between the pair of targets, the host and the secondary consciousness. Thus this technique is usually ineffective against a tailed beast or soul that is willingly collaborating with their host, unless the practitioner of this technique can incite enough rage to cause the inner entity vie for control of their host. Conversely, it is extremely easy to apply this technique when the secondary entity has been sealed against their will and sorely desires their freedom.
