This is a powerful area technique that presents a danger to both opponents and allies. For this technique the user will cup their palms into a ball like shape that is held tight to their midriff. Curling up slightly and then recoiling as their arms reach out, the user will release a spherical expanse of their spirit that moves out in every direction. The spirit is much more sparsely spread out then when attempting a position, so the user is not aiming to take control of anyone caught within this wave. Instead, being struck by the expanding sphere will result in confusion to anyone caught within it, whether they are allies or enemies. The confusion is enough to cause the targets to momentarily pause, having forgotten where they were or what they were doing for a moment to the point where they just stand there absentmindedly. The advantage of this technique is that the spirit is an invisible force. However, the disadvantage is similar to other Mental techniques in that the user's body will go limp until their spirit fully retracts, leaving them open to anyone that managed to avoid the blast and organize a counter attack. Anyone caught within the retracting spirit will still be impacted with the confusion, meaning that counter would have to be a ranged attack, though the range of the technique is not farther then any shinobi could throw a kunai or shuriken.
