Cursed Nightmare: Crucifixion (呪われたナイトメア・はりつけ, Norowareta Naitomea: Haritsuke) is one of Keshin's signature Genjutsu techniques. By combining his Genjutsu prowess with the range of a Wind Release technique, Keshin created a unique Genjutsu that could be cast through wind, and does not require eye contact with an opponent. Keshin will release a wave of wind that moves outwards in all directions. This ring of wind, if making contact with an opponent, will ensnare them in a powerful Genjutsu that causes them to experience their own crucifixion. Keshin developed this technique shortly after his own experience with crucifixion. The purpose of this technique is to cause the targets will to be completely broken, and to destroy them psychologically. An opponent's Dōjutsu has little to do with the power of this technique, the most effective way to prevent being caught in the Cursed Nightmare is to simply avoid it.
