While utilizing the Dark Art: Trailing Shadows, Mimoto draws more yin chakra through her system, adding it to the externalized yin chakra that was already in circulation. Once she has drawn up all the yin chakra that she possesses, she concentrates all of it into a single point in the center of her hands. This causes her Trailing Shadows technique to disappear, as it is sucked up all with the rest of the available yin chakra. Once it has gathered, the yin is condensed into a ball that steadily grows larger until it has the reached the level that Mimoto would like it to be. She then fires the condensed yin at the opponent. It is said that this technique is powerful enough to wipe out an opponent(s) or objects existence, overwhelming the yang half of the soul while feeding off of the available yin. It also is said to hold such powerful energy that it can cause those around it to fall into depression, hence the name. However, there are powerful drawbacks to this technique. Since the technique is compromised solely of yin energy, the user must donate as much of their yin chakra as possible, depleting it to zero, causing a powerful imbalance between and yang that could cause the user to deconstruct with form being lost. The first time it was used by Mimoto, she remained in a coma for several months after before her yin and yang were back in balance.
