Earth Release[]
Hayato is a proficient user of Earth Release, as are a majority of the shinobi from Iwagakure. Hayato primarily uses his Earth Release to defend and evade, rather than attack. Hayato makes excellent use of techniques like the Earth Release: Hiding Like a Mole Technique and Earth Release: Hiding in Rock Technique to maneuver around the battlefield without drawing the attention of his targets. Hayato often makes use of the simple but effective Earth Release: Trench Foot technique to surprise and unsuspecting victim, setting up a variety of attacks. Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall is another common but basic technique that Hayato has in his arsenal. Hayoto mostly employs this technique on a large scale to block off a path and prevent himself from being followed, though he has been known to use it as a sturdy defense as well. On the rare occasion where Hayato engages in direct combat, he still often uses Earth Release primarily to defend and evade his enemies.
