Earth Release: Trench Foot is a basic Earth Nature ninjutsu. The user causes the ground beneath an enemies feet, whether it be soil, sand or rock, to separate. Once the enemy is standing in the spaces created by the jutsu, the ground quickly shifts back to its original location, trapping the enemy (usually up to their knees). This jutsu is most effective when used with stone, as the stone can crush an enemy's legs, easily breaking bones, as it traps them.
