First Great Samurai War

The chaotic First Great Samurai War.

The First Great Samurai War, known initially as the Great Samurai World War, was a major international conflict that predates even the first of the Shinobi World Wars. The First Great Samurai War was the first major conflict between the samurai, and ultimately led to the formation and foundation of the Land of Iron. Little is known about the First Great Samurai War besides it being the first global conflict inflicted upon the world. The aftermath of the First Great Samurai War also led to the creation of eight other districts in addition to the Land of Iron, though the latter was considered to be the most powerful, and the nine Shogun. Although the scale of the war was inferior to its successor, the First Great Samurai War was far more chaotic, with several battles noted as being nothing more than senseless slaughter.
