Flesh Release (肉遁, "Kūton", Viz: "Flesh Style") is a rare chakra nature that gives one the distinct potential to influence the soft tissue of the body with perplexing authority. It is a kekkei keiro that combines the earth, fire, lightning and water natures. Through it a user can understand, vitalize, obstruct or fabricate cellular processes on intricate levels. Although uncommon it is typically associated with medical techniques as it is notorious for its capacity to manipulate organic matter.

Through the collective effort of them all one obtains otherwise impossible potential.

This nature transformation is incredibly unique because it allows a person to quite literally convert their chakra into a source of life. Perhaps the most elementary function of Flesh Release is the capacity to both generate and regenerate flesh at will, likely after sustaining damage. It might also allow one to inflate the size of their limbs or produce more of them than normal. Because much of the building blocks of flesh can be found in the earth itself the nature possesses the ability to turn earthen structures or materials themselves into flesh, converting the state of it entirely. This in itself requires less chakra. Even if the creator departs from their flesh (i.e a limb, fabricated tissue or an organ) they are forever connected and can be remotely controlled. In this way produced parts simply act as extensions of the user's will.
Because their chakra can be converted into life the user boasts a wild authority over their cells. Apparently those who possess the nature have a bounty of unique cells and bacteria present within their bodies as well as an arranged anatomy that stumps even the most astute of physicians. Flesh Release has the unique ability to siphon physical energy and life force which might enthuse the source of the absorption be it an extension or directly from the user.
It should be noted that clones created using Flesh Release are real, living duplicates of the original and thus do not die with a single or multiple blows but can live out entire lifespans dependent on the chakra instilled. Because blood is is the product of cellular growth, Flesh Release allows one to control their blood and the process of mitosis as well. Through it they can properly nourish themselves using chakra and re-purpose waste. Manipulation of ones blood, however, appears to tire them out quite quickly, even in comparison to the already costly aspects of the nature. Without any particular name, ? has been shown to cause his cells to harden in order to produce a spontaneous defense and on another occasion he was been known to vitalize his nervous system which increases his reaction time and speed.
One of the forbidden techniques of Flesh Release is the power which allows one to absorb and assimilate organic matter which might allow one to heal from damage or take on special properties otherwise foreign to them. Jutsu made with the nature are said to be able to "bring out the full potential of the cell" (細胞の可能性を最大限に引き出す, `Saibō no kanōsei o saidaigen ni hikidasu') because of the nature's capacity to act as a conduit for elemental jutsu. By releasing the true power of their cells for the briefest of moments, one can fire off impressive blasts of pure energy or move at incredible speeds.

Flesh Release has been shown to be capable of transferring damage from one victim to another through physical contact. A medical ninja might manipulate the process of mitosis to speed along the recovery of a patient. A darker side of this ability might overwhelm the patient's body causing them to increase in proportion and explode. Although crude, a person can gain regenerative powers by consuming the flesh of a person with Flesh Release as the genetics are incredibly adaptive. Through this transmutation they can manipulate the bodies of others for healing purposes.
