Genjutsu: Song of Peacock is Zenjou's ultimate Illusion. Unlike various rival illusions, Zenjou's song uses sound as a trigger. Sound's ability to travel through liquid, gas and solid makes it an extremely deadly yet subtle medium. Rather than a showy realization filled with bright lights and unnecessary symbols, Zenjou's song is simply a tune sung by peacocks. It's unique trigger causes opponent to believe a peacock has flown by. Leaving their guards weakened. The initial trigger is simply the first call of a Peacock. The continuation signals one has fallen pray to his trickery. The reason for this sound is due to Zenjou's love for peacocks. As a symbol of royalty, beauty and rarity, Zenjou adopted it as his own personal insignia. In essence, the unstoppable Ox is how others view him while he sees himself as a beautiful Peacock.
Zenjou's song is both a complex and generic illusion. Once induced, he can manipulate an opponents five senses. Causing them to view reality as he wishes. This is usually done with small glitches. Rather than turning one's sky red, Zenjou would simply shift his appearance. One would see him standing behind them, when in truth he never left his position. These hallucinations dance around, wary of oncoming attacks to assure that this simple illusion is seen through. Other tricks involve faking attacks, feigning injury, and in some cases death. The worst action one could take against Zenjou is to reveal a personality trait. He has made father's believe their sons to have fallen before them. Wives to watch their daughters get defiled and like it. Overall, it is a powerful psychological tool. Another aspect is their sense of direction. Zenjou can shift their perception by a few centimeters, inches or even feet depending on his situation. Causing them to jump into his attacks rather than dodging. Lord Kaguya favors wiping his arrows from his opponents reality. Every few arrows disappear. Rather than four, they only see two.
The technique's name derives from the feathers upon his special tricked arrows.
