The Giant Old Snail (大古蝸, Ōgoka) is the oldest snail that still being summoned by members of the Yumekuni Clan. He is also the personal summon of Himitsu Yumekuni.
Appearance[]
The Giant Old Snail resembles an ordinary snail aside its massive size, its large gray mustache and the fact of using a large necklace with the symbol of Tobikakurenai Village. His structure is gooey and possesses an orange tint. In his face appear some marks of his age like warts and wrinkles (which is curious once it is a snail). His shell has some irregularities and depressions.
Although his name denotes that he is extremely large, the Old Snail is not as giant as Gamabunta or Katsuyu, but once his size is larger than that of the other snails (both ordinary snails and snails summons), measuring approximately 55 centimeters. Because of this particularity he is considered a giant, though does not quite measure even one meter.
Abilities[]
As the Second Mizukage's Giant Clam, the old snail is capable of producing a mist with which its summoner can create a deceptive mirage that completely rendered observers unable to accurately locate the position of himself or his summoner. He is also capable of launching jets of water from the mouth and, after wetting the ground, can summon bubbles in forms of balloons to be launched against its target.
Personality[]
The Old Snail is very observant and cautious. Although he claims to be afraid of the youth's spontaneity, he is very respectful and loyal to Himitsu. He also has a good memory even now being too old, and is able to recall several facts that occurred in the past, even though some of them have been partially forgotten.
Trivia[]
- Even the Water Balloon Technique have been presented as unique to members of the Hōzuki Clan the Old Snail is able to perform it because of the old relationship between snails and members of this clan during the First Shinobi World War.
- The giant old snail adds to the list of summons who are seemingly allied to a single ninja village given the Tobikakurenai Village symbol on its necklace.
