Using this technique, Ryun, or the Shinseijū, can transform its roots into several dragon-like effigies. These dragons can then be manipulated into attacking several targets and also absorbing their chakra. While in its tailed beast form, the tree uses this technique through its mouth-like tails.

This technique seems to find its basis in Níðhöggr, a dragon who gnaws at a root of the world tree, Yggdrasil.
