Shinsō is the spear that Yoshitsune Uchiha's Susanoo wields. The spear can seal the opponents chakra system for a set amount of time when they are stabbed, making them only able to use taijutsu. This also causes the target to be unable to use Kekkei Genkai or Kekkei Tōta. The longest amount of time that it has been known to seal is about an hour, with the shortest being five minutes. The ability to seal can only be used once on a person every twenty-four hours. This means if the target broke out of the sealing in a minute, Yoshitsune can not reseal their chakra despite how short it was sealed for a day. If this soear were to pierce a shadow clone, or any clone for that matter, the clone would have the seal placed on it before it is destroyed. Upon the chakra returning to the user, they recieve the seal from the clone. Yoshitsune claims that Shinsō can pierce any defense, even that of a another Susanoo. It can also be thrown and said to always hit its target, though this is an exaggeration. The spear appears to be an elegant boar spear with a long shaft. Around the spear head are decorations that appear to be jewels. After Yoshitsune gained the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, the spear became stored with in a sake gourd much like the Sword of Totsuka of Itachi Uchiha.

• Shinsō is named after the zanpakutō wielded by Gin Ichimaru from the Bleach series.
• Despite the claim to seal the user no matter the clone type, it can't work on the normal Clone Technique or any clone formed by animals, such as the Crow Clone Technique. Elemental clones that recieve the seal, such as the Wood Clone Technique or the Dust Clone Technique, despite not being a shadow clone the chakra used to form such clones is shaped as the user and when the seal is placed the chakra forming the clone is forced by the seal to return to the user. Yoshitsune say it is "the divine will of the gods" that makes this happen.
