"They say the eyesight is the first to go...But I believe as you grow older, your vision enters new dimensions. Entirely different levels of thinking. Universes only accesible by a certain level of wisdom...Forgive me for babbling child. But I must thank you for spending time with this old sack of bones." |

Heki (壁,Heki) was the former Daimyō of the Land of Wind. He also lived as Zenjou's adopted grandfather and main role model. A major influence in the future Kazekage's life, Heki served a majority of his life as the Daimyō. Unlike others, his immense shinobi abilities caused many to support Heki's insanely long reign. He was loved by many yet feared by more. Heki's immense mastery over the art of Kyūjutsu spawned his infamous title as the Greatest Archer of the Age (一世の射手, Issei no Ite). A title which he passed onto his grandchild.

Heki loved Zenjou as his own, and swore to protect him at all cost...

Kyūjutsu[]
A blessing which he passed onto his grandchild, Heki was perhaps known as Sunagakure's greatest archer. His skill with a bow and arrow surpassed samurai of old. He once dispatched an entire squad using a single arrow. Rumors spoke of Heki utilizing a single hand to fire his bow. Wind release allowed access without physical contact.
