Hibari is a coldhearted person who seeks only to further his own goals. He sees most people as pawns that are good to keep around until the have out lived their usefulness. Hibari is a shoot first ask question later kind of guy. He will gladly strike down an ally if it means taking out an enemy or gaining an upper hand. Despite his cold nature he shows his softer side to his inner circle of comrades. Hibari Hates Ryu Kamina with every fiber of his being. This causes the two to bump heads constantly. Ryu and Hibari have fought on several occasions, with the intent to kill the other in mind. Hibari desires to kill Ryu seeing him as an eyesore and a disgrace.

Hibari was born 79 years after the Fourth Shinobi World War. Most of Hibari's past is a mystery, Unknown circumstances had his family exiled from Konohagakure. From their they took refuge at Otogakure. When Hibari reached the age of 7 he had already unlocked his Sharingan. Hibari spent all of his time training. Always bettering himself, as thought his hunger for power was never satisfied. Hibari soon hit a stand still with his training, it was around this Hibari met an unusual ninja named Yukio Miyamoto. Yukio had been observing Hibari and promised him power if he agreed to help him find the ancient research of two men named Kabuto Yakushi and Orochimaru. He assured Hibari their would be secret scrolls with many techniques he could have.
