Jishōkuse is a curse based off of Zenjou's own disease. A defense-mechanism that his body activates in extreme situations, it's a painful illness which plagued Zenjou since birth. However, Zenjou managed to transform it into a curse he could inflict upon others. Zenjou achieves this feat by transferring a mixture of his chakra and cells into a target. The energy acts in a similar manner to Zenjou's other techniques by becoming the catalyst of activation. Afterwards, Zenjou's unique cells hijack the opponents repair mechanisms and forces fibrous tissue to undergo spontaneous ossification. Their damaged tissue starts regenerating as ossified tissue which eventually leads to injuries which cause joints to become permanently frozen in place. It is completely excrutiating as sharp bone growth continues to shred into their body ultimately causing a great amount of internal pain. Their body continuously regenerates whenever they are wounded with ossified tissue, skin and even organs. Once infected, removing the excess osteokinetic growths is futile as the body simply repairs the area with more bone. Ultimately, they're unable to truly halt it's growth. Causing a spread of spontaneous ossification or ossified growth resulted from recieving damage in inflicted areas. Which leads to victims losing complete control over their body as their skeleton imprisons them. Zenjou is known for causing damage during such instances as a manner of speeding up the process. The Jishōkuse is a curse capable of halting perhaps the strongest healers as their enhanced regenerative abilities leads to the ossification of flesh. Similar to his own case, Zenjou's can utilize his mastery over osteokinesis to halt or even shatter effected areas.
