The presence of a Kekkei Senyaku via Soul Essence Infusion
Kekkei Senyaku (血継煎薬, Bloodline Infusion) is a Bloodline gained by way of infusion of the user's Soul Essence (霊精気, Reiseiki) into another through essence transfusion. Artificial Kekkei Senyaku can not be passed on genetically from the receiver, nor can it be taught, only a natural one can. The process of obtaining a Kekkei Senyaku can be natural or artificial in nature. Because of its unique connection to the soul and body, there is no genetic requirement for the acquisition of a Kekkei Senyaku.
The most prominent example is shown within the Arayo Branch of the Rasen Clan. Because the family branch itself only consists of females, they produce via Asexual Reproduction, inheriting all of the genes of the parent. They are also known to convert others outside their clan into clan members themselves by completely rewriting their genetic code. The Arayo Branch Family became quite notable, renowned and infamous during the Warring States Period for their Kekkei Senyaku, the Ashinagatenaga.
The ??? Clan has been known to obtain Kekkei Senyaku by way of transferring their soul essence into other individuals. Using this method, a receiver can transfer their bloodline to another individual up to three times before further soul essence infusion becomes impossible due to dilution of the said soul essence. This method allowed for highly diverse bloodlines within the clan itself while also broadening the spectrum of Kekkei Senyaku in the process. This method also allows a soul essence donor to revoke their soul essence from a receiver altogether. Once a bloodline, such as the Explosion Release kekkei genkai is transferred to an individual via soul essence infusion, it is referred to a Kekkei Senyaku. A mark of some kind appears on the body of the receiver upon completing the infusion process.
