The Five-Tailed Dolphin Horse (五尾のイルカ馬, Gobi no Irukauma) is a tailed beast formerly sealed within Han from Iwagakure. It was then captured, extracted, and sealed by Akatsuki. After Akatsuki fell, it fell back into the hands of Iwagakure and, due to the lack of a good host, became the personal summon of the Third Tsuchikage, Ōnoki.

Background

According to Madara Uchiha, the Five-Tails first came into being in the waning days of the Sage of the Six Paths' life; to prevent its resurgence, the Sage split up the chakra of the Ten-Tailed Beast into nine separate, monstrous constructs of living chakra, which would become known as the tailed beasts. The Five-Tails eventually fell into the possession of Amegakure and was sealed into an unnamed shinobi there.

Appearance

The Five-Tails primarily resembles a white horse, but its head is based off of a dolphin with two long and short horns.

Personality

The Five-Tails appears to be a very lazy, uncaring beast that mostly remains sleeping. It seems to have a very mellow personality, letting it's host access it's chakra at anytime. Like the other Tailed Beasts, however, it's motives behind letting Li use it's chakra is merely in the interest of self-preservation.

Activity within Li

Four Symbols Seal

The Four Symbols Seal that holds the Five-Tails inside Li.

As Li often points out, the Five-Tails doesn't give him too much of an issue as far as trying to take over such as the Nine-Tailed Fox does to it's host. It spends most of it's time within Li sleeping or resting, rarely becoming active unless Li is in extreme danger.
