Hiake will often use several senbon needles he has on his person made of silicide metal alloys, usually which he can spit out in a liquified state and shape them into such. When thrown he can use a Fire Release technique in order to ignite them causing them to somewhat resemble flaming needles of rain thus the name. The results are usually painful should someone be grazed or struck by these needles, usually with great accuracy though rarely anything close to a killing shot. Sometimes in the absence of senbon Hiake will make use of kunai instead, usually having to coat them in the silicide and throw them before he can ignite them or just ignite the blade and throwing after. It can also be used in the same matter for shurikens.
