Rūku Uchiha (うちは一ルーク, Uchiha Rūku) was the grandson of Ryun Uchiha and the father of Echo Uchiha.

Background[]

The son, and second child, of Fūjin Uchiha and Yūgao Hyūga, Rūku was like his father in almost every way. He became a Genin at age six and awakened his Sharingan at seven.[2] According to Echo Uchiha, Rūku's son, he went on to become a Yamakage and a truly powerful shinobi. At some point in Rūku's life, he had son, Echo. According to Echo, he died when the boy was still young.[1]

Personality[]

Little about Rūku is known. According to his son, he was one of the few people Echo learned to respect.[1]

Appearance[]

Rūku bore a striking resemblance to his father, Fūjin: possessing raven-black hair, pale skin, and Teiōgan eyes like his sister. Later in life, his hair seems to have become grey and he also had lost his right eye — wearing a type of black armor over the lost eye.

Abilities[]

Dōjutsu[]

Teiōgan[]

Like his sister, Abura, Rūku eventually awakened the Teiōgan.

Legacy[]

Rūku would contribute his bloodline and lineage to the continuation of the Uchiha Clan, which, thanks to his sister, would eventually become the Abura Clan.

Trivia[]

  • "Rūku" (ルーク) is the Japanese romanization of the English name "Luke". This stems from the fact that he was originally named Luke Uchiha.
  • When he was first written, Rūku was Ryun's son rather than grandson. This was later retconed for the backstory of the Abura Clan.
