Okay, since the chat is lagging like crazy, I think it's best we discuss it here. Can you explain how Chieko is able to cast a genjutsu through the body of someone else after he was hit by a ninjutsu attack?
PS: Tt is mentioned directly afterwards that Sayuri prepared her eyes to mirror any attempt at genjutsu, so if she were somehow in it, then how is it still active?
Also, it's never mentioned on any page, not her own character page, nor is it mentioned in a separate technique page.
I'll use my roleplay with Ita as an example. I used a medium for the genjutsu I put Fūrin under. This is no different. Kaito is the medium.
Next, like I said before, I don't need to list all the ways she can apply genjutsu as there are innumerable applications. I could go on for days on how genjutsu can be applied. However, I stuck to one fact. There's nothing that can't be used as a medium for something in this universe. Furthermore, if you, the author, doesn't know you're in a genjutsu, how could your character mirror it? That would make no sense.
Last, I did this before you attack Kaito. Your mirror attempt happened after you made contact with Kaito. Now, saying that you mirrored a genjutsu that you were already inside is like trying get out of a box made of mirrors and mirroring it. Even then, she prepared for any attempt. That means she still wasn't aware that she was already in one.
She wasn't already in it, it was employed during my turn, which is the turn directly after you attempted the genjutsu.
And I'd argue you do have to list how she can initiate a genjutsu, otherwise anyone could do anything. Can Kurenai cast a genjutsu based off sound? Can Itachi deploy a genjutsu based off scent? The fact that it must exist on your page is a basic rule, or at least that's what I thought.
Does the user matter? I was suspicious, of course, and therefore conducted a mirror. If your going with your rules, then it would be Chieko under the genjutsu, and not Sayuri. And, additionally, I did mention to you in PM that Chieko looked into Sayuri's eyes... so if anything, she's under a genjutsu, and not Sayuri.
Either way, the way you claim to have placed Sayuri under genjutsu still does not make sense to me, perhaps you could elaborate on it more? (I know you tried before, I couldn't read it with all the lag) As far as I know, a rasengan that was not apart of Sayuri any longer, blew through Kaito's chest. It was never stated anywhere that Chieko placed a genjutsu on Kaito, or anything of that nature. And if she did, why is it activating after he gets hit? That sounds like a technique to me. But please, for the sake of my own knowledge, please tell me how a rasengan going through someone's chest allowed the user to be placed in a genjutsu.
Did you notice that after your turn, I stated that Kaito was hit? Also, you stated that you were able to control the sphere. Meaning you had to have a connection. With Kaito as the medium, her chakra infected yours. Just like with the kunai you picked up.
Again, I don't have state all the ways. It's multifaceted. Yes, Kurenai's could make genjutsu from sound, but Kishi didn't see it fit. Itachi could do a genjutsu by scent, but Uchiha = Dojutsu dependence for Kishi. He only used them for he wanted, not for all the things they could have done. Genjutsu encompasses a wide variety of forms and applications. This means that when I say genjutsu, I mean all of genjutsu.
Now, you created the mirror after my turn when Chieko used the fireball volley. Also, I never placed Kaito under genjutsu. I simply transferred the chakra that could induce genjutsu through him. The chakra would then spread over his body. When he came in contact with your chakra, it spread into that as well.
No, that's speculation. That's like me saying just because Neji is good at taijutsu, he's good at all taijutsu. He can open the eight gates, since your saying because Itachi and Kurenai are genjutsu types, they can initiate it through every way possible.
Simply stated a character is really good at something doesn't clarify what exactly they can do. If I said my character was good at kenjutsu, does that mean he can use all the sword styles in the world? Of course not, unless of course I had the courtesy to say "___ knows all the sword styles in the world", which would honestly be very lazy of me, since I'm not clarifying anything.
If your allowed to free style to such an extent, then I suppose I shall be able to as well? What if I all of a sudden said that because Sayuri is so gifted in chakra control, genjutsu can't effect her? Because esentially, that's what you doing here.
" I simply transferred the chakra that could induce genjutsu through him. The chakra would then spread over his body. When he came in contact with your chakra, it spread into that as well."
Except, it didn't touch Sayuri's chakra, only the chakra that the rasengan encompassed, which plunged a whole through his chest. It isn't mentioned anywhere that either of those characters can absorb chakra as far as I know. So how are they absorbing it?
If the technique Chieko used to trigger upon her chakra coming together with someone elses, then why is it that Kaito wasn't trapped in the genjutsu too?
It seems as though you and I aren't reaching a consensus here. Our minds are too different. I'm seeing things one way and you're seeing another. This will likely go nowhere. I have done nothing but repeat myself through this whole discussion and will likely continue doing so. In short, I think it's best if we just end it here.
Well, I think we should be able to agree on the fact that she did indeed mirror the genjutsu. We've seen the sharingan be able to break out even of the tsukuyomi (yes you have to be related, but thats beside the point) so it doesn't matter what turn she would have done so.
But because I made the conscious effort to prepare myself for a genjutsu, I don't believe she would be in the genjutsu. Also, the fact that after it was broken, Chieko commented twice on Sayuri's eyes, suggests that it's not Sayuri, but Chieko who is under the genjutsu. Do you get what I'm saying?
If your method worked at first, I don't know. Either way, the mirror would have sent it back, and since she has looked into Sayuri's eyes, she is now under the genjutsu.
Well like my example, we've seen the sharingan break out of something during the middle of it. As in, we saw Sasuke under Itachi's tsukuyomi, his eye was stolen, and before both eyes could be taken from him, he broke out.
Also, when Kurenai used the tree genjutsu on Itachi, he was also seemingly caught and imprisoned within a tree, only for him to latter turn the tables.
It's entirely possible, and for that matter, the only representation we've seen of the Demonic Illusion: Mirror Heaven and Earth Change had the user be caught within the genjutsu beforehand.
Well, obviously she would be aware of it too if she made such a move, lol. Why else would she randomly try to repel a genjutsu? If anything, it would have been her attack's after effect that gave it away. As mentioned in the context itself, it would have totally obliterated his body as a whole, but instead, left only a gapping hole, that was later healed on it's own. That's credited as her most powerful attack, and she'd for sure be aware of it's results.
I do have a question though for example say we use an appearance of a character from an anime or manga to describe the appearance of a character were creating, are we aloud to use that same or similar character appearance for another character?
Actually, I would strongly advise not doing that. That would be because it can be easily considered plagiarism. What I suggest is not writing an appearance section because your character is not going to look the same everyday. Instead, find multiple pictures of that character and place them in a gallery under the appearance section. After all, pictures tell a thousand words. :)
Do remember that the four remaining ninja were very close to Yumiko while Chieko was much further ahead and near Fūrin. At this distance and after Chieko teleported, the wind blade would have to cover a moderately long distance to reach. Keep in mind, the ninja are Yumiko so he would be able to react by stepping in the path of the attack. Plus, as you said, the smoke blew away seconds after which would mean that Fūrin would still be in the motion of releasing the attack. This would alert the ninja. Even if the attack was invisible, the trajectory and the fact that the smoke was disrupted means that something was headed towards both Chieko and Yumiko.
Firstly, I don't know how Chieko teleported without having the seal near Fuurin. Secondly, the smoke obscures the area, fuurin does the attack. For the blades to eliminate the smoke, it wouldn't really work since they are so narrow, they aren't an air current, all they would do is disrupt the smoke slightly when entering. But lets consider that they DO blow the smoke away, do you think that Fuurin would still be moving her arm after initiating the attack with three seconds? I don't think so. But lets consider she did, even then I highly doubt he would know what's going on since the attack is invisible. Let's consider he knew what was going on magically, would he comprehend what Fuurin did and then go into rescue sacrificing his life for the Genin? I think you know what I mean Green lol. They're shinobi, survival is for the strongest as I assume that he didn't have any special relationship with Yumiko. but you get my point.
I'll start with your last question. He wasn't saving Yumiko. He was saving Chieko as she was near Yumiko because how she touched everyone's hand and placed seals on them. Next, the page for Blade of Wind says that it is a "gust" and from what I know about gusts is that they a sudden rushes of wind. Next, I understand that Fūrin still being in the motion would be weird. However, the attack being invisible doesn't eliminate the fact that it affects the environment around it. Next, this is guy is a ninja, meaning he isn't stupid. He was warned about Fuurin's abilities. It doesn't take a genius to know that wind blows.
He didn't determine the location, only the direction in which it would travel. And I did answer how Chieko did it. She had seals on all five the ninja, including Yumiko. She placed seals before they started.
Nope, you didn't explain. You see, you never mentioned that the seal was placed on them before the battle started. It's basically escaping the situation, but that's not my concern. What I meant was the initial transportation. When she magically appeared in front of Fuurin prior the slash. And nope the second explanation is invalid in my book tbh. How could he determine the direction it would travel if it is invisible?
I did explain. If you read my past turns, you'll see that she touched their hands. Now, if you also read my application, it says that she passively places seals on anything she touches. As for the initial teleportation, it wasn't. That was just extremely quick movement. As for seeing the trajectory of the wind blades, Chieko and Yumiko are both behind the cloud. The wind goes through the cloud. Where else will it go? Keep in mind that they are very near to Yumiko therefore, there are only a few places for the blades to be aimed unless Fūrin planned on missing Yumiko entirely which, judging by your turn, wasn't going to happen.
So, you said Chieko glared at the "now" very short woman. What do you mean by that? Sorry if i'm being detailed, but small details like that could mean the presence of a Genjutsu so I need to fully understand the imagery of the battle.
I see, the mantras. You used an unusual word that ppl wouldn't look up as it would be expected that it's a visual effect. You slide the part where she whispered the mantras in a short sentence hoping that others would overlook it as not everyone deciphers every single word.
You gave me hints as well. The one with the short woman, which I'm assuming is Fuurin. So you changed the height slightly. And the other where they didn't care for their comrade. And the third was the actual dodge that was done as Chieko was the only one who watched the attack. Thus, she can manipulate the Jounin in the Genjutsu to do the dodge as there's no way for him to actually know.
This is what makes roleplaying with genjutsu so fun! The deception. The subtle tricks. It all comes together to orchestrate an entertaining battle. So now you've seen through my ruse, I hope you will come up with an exciting response. This has already got me hyped. 😁
Hoy anther concern, the move you made was umm "boring" kinda. You see, Fuurin didn't break the Genjutsu. I'm giving you a chance to maintain control over her cuz I hate the "BAM I stopped my chakra then flew it back at great speed" thing. Anyways, in your turn, Chieko is still making her way towards Fuurin right? assuming that Fuurin broke out of the Genjutsu, she would still have time to respond. As it would be kind of an auto-hit if she didn't, ya know? heh. Sorry if I commented on it being boring, but I just wanted to have a fun RP, you were great btw, it's just a light concern.
