Minkai Zokatakei (悪魔 神像カタ鄭 ) is the Head of the Kokoro, and a child from the Kiseki. He is best represented by his drinking habit, and is rarely seen without some sort of alchaholic beverage in his possesion.

Bio

Past (Before series beginning)

Born in a poor village in Iwagakure, Minkai was born without a name, and lived his fist seven years on the charity of the villagers, who couldnt even feed themselves, due to the unreasonable new taxes set up. At age 7, Minkai saw how much of a burden he was becoming to the villagers, and left for the village's sake. Not even a day later, Minkai collasped in the mountains surrounding his village. When Minkai came to, he was imidiately welcomed by the sound of footsteps and laughter. Minkai sat up to see a group of children running to the door, into an open field outside. A woman came up to Minkai and smiled. She went on to adress herself as Kyuusaisha, head of the Kiseki orphanage. She found Minkai while on a search for a certain item that she did not specify. Agterwords, Minkai continured his next three years peacefully at the orphanage, until at the age of 10, goverment officials took control of the orphanage, and it became a new training academy for ninja starting at a young age. Minkai forcibly learned and exelled at taijutsu and swordfighting, but always lacked with genjutsu, and had average ninjutsu. He was well known in the house for his skill with blades larger than himslf. During a routine training mission at age 15, a downpour began. With no nearby conver, Minkai went into a small cave at the base of Mt. Onikumo, a mountain that was restricted of public passage.

Minkai/Arranhaku arc

Minkai is first introduced while in a pub (comedy scene), and he meets Seireitou Hyuga. Seireitou is very wary of Minkai's unusual powers. He chalenges Minkai to a fight outside. Minkai, easily fending off Seireitou's physical attacks, starts to unveil Soul Edge. Seireitou uses KyuubiTaishou and fights Minkai in Bankai, overpowering Minkai. Minkai asks where his stregth is from, and Seireitou asks the same. While they talk, Arranhaku appears for the 2nd time and engages in a small battle with Minkai and Seireitou. Arranhaku, after seeing their powers, dangles a sack full of Soul Edge Fragments, which Minkai was looking for. Minkai agrees to join Seireitou in his fight against Arranhaku

Jutsus and Techniques

Crystal release

Minkai possesses a unique ninja art; the Crystal Release. It is unknown if this is a unique kekkai genkai or secret technique. By using this power, Minkai can summon and manipulate crystal in a number of manners such as creating crushing walls or unique shuriken.

Minkai's Geass

Minkai's geass is an unusual one for it has more then one power and it is blue instead of redish and the bird shape is upside down.

Geass Abilities

  • Minkai's Original Geass power manifests itself as "the power of absolute obedience," which allows him to plant commands within a person's mind upon direct eye contact. He is granted this ability through his contract with Z.Z.. Activation of the Geass is visually represented by the manifestation of a Geass sigil in his left eye. Commands dictated in this state are written into the minds of the designated targets once the sigil projects from his eye to theirs. The ability cannot influence the same individual twice. Minkai could initially toggle Geass activation at will, but subsequently loses this control to an affliction known as Geass runaway. This later extends to the right eye and grants him different abilties other then this one. (Around the Arranhaku arc).
  • grants him the ability to temporarily suspend the subjective experience of time for all individuals within a given sphere of influence, effectively paralyzing anyone within its area of effect (the seal of absolute suspension). The ability does not require eye contact, and can be used on the same person more than once. The weakness of Minkai's Geass is that his heart stops when he uses it, limiting its activation to short bursts.
  • the ability to freely alter an individual's memories at will; he may also seal the ability of another Geass user as well as physical abilities such as eyesight. Geass sigils light up in both eyes when he uses it.
  • allows him to telepathically hear the conscious thoughts of anyone within a 500 meter radius (the seal of absolute sound). Geass sigils light up in both eyes when the ability is active. He does not need to maintain direct eye contact with his victim(s) and, apart from Z.Z., has no restrictions on who it can be used on.
  • allows him to see a few seconds into the future
  • Advanced Abilties:
    • allows him to hyperaccelerate all objects within a given radius by manipulating local gravitational pull. When active, a Geass sigil appears upon Minkai's forehead.
    • accurately identifies the positions of targets within a given range and precisely calculates their probable movement trajectories based on all known variables. When active, a Geass sigil appears on Minkai's forehead.
    • allows him to map three-dimensional terrain accurately within a given range. When active, a Geass sigil appears on Minkai's forehead.
    • augments his physical strength by exaggerating the magnitude of macroscopic forces. When active, a Geass sigil appears on Minkai's forehead.
    • On meeting another's eyes with his left pupil, Minkai is capable of reading memories or forcing a victim to relive past experiences.

(soul edge to minkai) You are nothing without me! Just a useless pawn, nothing more! (minkai to soul edge) Oh really? Look at the situation you are in currently. You cannot move without me. You cannot feed without me. You would never be able to get all of your fragments wothout me. I am in control here.

(to seireitou) "You have friends that will die for you. Cherish it while you still can, because it won't last forever."

"I cannot sleep. If I ever fall asleep, I will awake to bloodshed. I see enough of that."

"I dont ever want to have to see that again, my trusted comrades falling, right in front of me"
