After gaining complete mastery over his Kodona Noryokugan's Order of Time technique, Ace became able to "rewrite time itself" via inserting himself into the opponents memory. He does this by forming saying a specific phase "Insert", while coming into contact with them, appearing as a friend or foe, determined at will by Ace. He can even make it to where his opponent taught him certain techniques by inserting himself in memories of his foe training. Because he inserts himself into his opponents memory, his opponent will not know it's the effect oft he technique, or that Ace is using a technique at all.
If Ace utters "Revert" and touches the opponent again, he can take himself from the opponents memory, though if he learned a technique from them, it'd still be retained.
