Raijū is an extremely powerful technique invented by Kenji Kayuga. Due to the technique using actual lightning, this technique is one of the most powerful Lightning Release techniques.

In order to perform this technique, the user must first release a large amount of lightning chakra into the atmosphere, in order to ionize air particles and give them an electric current, causing the air to be laden with static electricity. Once the lightning source has been acquired, the user shapes and guides the static electricity with their chakra and brings it down on the target. The scope of the attack is determined by the amount of static electricity the user chooses to mould with their chakra. This technique has a blast radius of up to half a kilometer, and its power is comparable to Sasuke's Kirin.
