Renkinjutsu (錬金術, Alchemy Techniques) is a Kinjutsu that belonged to Kinkagakure (金貨隠れ, Hidden Golden Coin Village) until the technique was stolen by Kinfu and lost forever. It gives the user the ability to transform ordinary objects such as stones, ninja tools, flowers, apples or even living things such as animals and people into gold. It can also deconstruct gold into a liquid form or solidify it.
As of right now, only one technique is known that comes from the Renkinjutsu. This is "Golden Daze Solidification Technique" (金夢固化の術, Kinmu Koka no Jutsu). This technique gives the user the ability to transform any material he or she touches into pure gold and is easily one of the most important techniques for Renkinjutsu. However, Kinfu showed the ability to create golems made out of gold as well as deconstruct them into molten gold, manipulate preexisting gold, and control with through chakra. However, the names of these abilities have yet to be revealed.
Kinjutsu Status[]
It is considered a Kinjutsu due to its ability to vastly increase the wealth of an individual or organization. Kinkagakure's legendary wealth is an attribute to that. However, is also has a negative effect on the user. If the user uses up all of his or her chakra when using a Renkinjutsu technique or loses control of their chakra, they will be transformed into a statue of gold. However, due to the nature of death, they body will transform into gold after the user dies. So, regardless of the outcome, the user will be entirely encased in gold. The golden statues of the previous Kinkage line the hallway that contains the Kinjutsu scroll.
