Rinnetensei(輪廻転生,the circle of transmigration) is an ancient technique known to have been used by the two sages. Stated as being the origin of Ninshū.

An ancient technique that combines the abilities of the Rinnegan and Tenseigan, forming a circle. Initiated with a hand clap, the user(s) channels the power of the eyes though one another causing the eyes to overlap in the other's eyes. Once done, with a single gesture. There user(s), opens the gate of the afterlife calling back the souls of the fallen. Then by breaking down materials around them, and reconstituting it around the souls. Thus creating habitable bodies that fits each soul like its original. Despite being like its original, it takes time for the user to get used to the body. Often with them being weak for sometime after its creation.

It is stated that the two sages used this technique to revive those killed by and during the battle with the Ten-Tails.
