Body Flicker Technique

The Shadow Flicker Technique is a secret clan jutsu created by Shikaki Nara, influenced by Minato Namikaze's Flying Thunder God Technique and based on the Body Flicker Technique. It revolves around the use of the shadow around the user in order to "flicker" from one place to another through a shadow, as a medium. It differs from the typical Body Flicker Technique since it can happen without advance warning, though it requires the user to be completely enveloped within a body of shadow to use.

With this technique, the user can teleport to any location that is being touched by the body of shadow at will. This allows the user to immediately be next to an enemy caught within the Shadow Imitation Technique without the victim mirroring the user's movements. A master of the technique can combine this technique with flash bombs in order to ambush a foe.

The process of creating the Shadow Flicker Technique was recorded by Shikaki on a scroll, disguised as an ailment to the common cold in the clan library. No code was ever recorded for the scroll, making the code-breaking process difficult.
