A chilled breeze swirled around the remains of the Valley of End. The cold, blood stained body of [[Shirou] lay on the ground, his face emotionless and filled with disgrace. Standing over him was none other than the Hidden Leaf’s Beauty, Sayuri Senju, her hand drenched in the warm red blood of her victim as she bent over to take what she felt as though rightfully belonged to her: the scroll.
Lifting the scroll from a pool of blood, the laminated sheets of paper that composed the scroll were ruined, though the wording remained intact, enough for whomever it was intended for to thoroughly analyze. It was against Sayuri’s code to neglect her responsibilities. Though her trail of thought was clouded in the thought of betrayal, she longed to complete her assignment, just as always. A mystery would unwrap itself, she thought. All she could do now was head out.
Sayuri took one last glance at the wounded man whose body ached between her two feet. A random act of kindness, she departed before finishing him off entirely, let alone leaving his treasured eyes within his sockets. The time had come to visit an old friend, who she once held dear.
The sound of rumpled leaves fluttering through the wind encased the forest as Sayuri gained speed. She had been off track for quite some time, with the recent level of fighting that had taken place. Now to make up for lost time, she’d have to make use of her chakra. vanishing instantaneously, she disappeared and reappeared several yards away. A rinse and repeat process, she would soon reach the profound barrier of gakure, of which she managed to phase through entirely.
