After weaving the needed hand signals, the user coats their hands with Storm Release chakra and forms a circle in front of them. The energy from their hands fills the circle, which then fires out a mass quantity of Fūma Shuriken at a rapid pace, usually up to twenty. Due to being made of storm chakra, these shuriken are faster than normal and able to cut through stone with ease. They can also be manipulated by the user to guide towards targets. After piercing the desired target, each shuriken can also unleash a forward beam of energy, causing additional damage. The shuriken can also combine to form one gigantic shuriken with devastating power.
