Susanoo (佐能乎, He with the ability to help by all means) was the third and final ability that was granted to Taiga Uchiha when he awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan, Uzume, and Ninigi respectively. Taiga's Susanoo is strange in this regard, as he did not need to awaken Tsukuyomi or Amaterasu, unlike other Uchiha shinobi. Taiga's Susanoo is a like green in color with an appearance reminiscent of a demon.

Mangekyō Sharingan

Taiga's Susanoo went through several developmental stages as he started to gain control over it. The various stages are seen while Taiga is learning how to use Susanoo, when he masters it, and all stages in between. In it's earliest form, Taiga could only manifest some of the Susanoo skeleton, producing only a lime green ribcage that he used as a defense, although the bones could be broken, melted, or shattered. He also had the ability to form an arm from either side of the ribcage which could be used for attacks and enhanced defense. Since the skeletal structures did not entirely surround him in this form, he could move much freer and easier.

As he gained further control over the Susanoo, it gained a small amount of musculature and skin also began to appear on the bones of a fully mature skeleton torso, which was fitted with a bigger, full sized ribcage, skull, and arms. It also completely surrounded Taiga when it was in this fuller size, eliminating the weaknesses of the ribcage version. It anchored Taiga to the ground at this stage, also, preventing opponent's from forcibly moving them unless they could get through it's multiple layers of armor. In this form, Taiga's Susanoo resembled a demon, having a slightly pointed chin and two small horns on it's head with large, glowing eyes. It was also able to produce a spiritual sword that had the power to cut through most substances, including chakra.

When Taiga gained complete control over his Mangekyō form, the bone structure became even more defined and the skin layers became thicker and stronger. It grew to its fullest size that it could grow to in Mangekyō form and he became further surrounded by it's multiple, thicker layers. Taiga's Susanoo matured to full form when he continued to think about how weak he was and how he would be unable to protect his friends and his village. In this full form, his Susanoo had a much longer head and chin horns and gained another layer of muscle and and skin. It also gained an additional, protective layer that wrapped around the outside of the Susanoo like a veil, showing only the eyes of the original version. It could also produce the same spiritual sword that appeared in it's incomplete form.

Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan Version

When he first used his Susanoo the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan version of Susanoo, he noticed that it did not have many of his brother's features but had obtained a new layer around the outside of it that made it look more like a Tengu spirit instead of a demon. As he gained further control over the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan version of Susanoo, he noticed that it was less painful to his body and was also easier to use and activate. It also maintained it's original lime green color and it's spiritual sword. The physical attacks from the Susanoo while in this form were also greatly heightened and could easily crush large boulders and pillars.

Perfect Susanoo Version

Similar to his ancestor, Madara Uchiha, Taiga is also able to use his Susanoo's perfect form. In this form, his Susanoo grows two, long legs that cause the Susanoo to raise itself several meters into the air, easily dwarfing any shinboi. It also has four distinct arms, two outer and two inner, and the two outer arms each have a spirtiual swords. Each of these swords have incredible destructive power and can easily gouge the earth, decapitating any mountain range in it's path. In this form, the overall color of the Susanoo also appears to be a darker shade of yellow than usual.
