The user secretes a type of substance through the pores of their skin, enabling the individual to breathe for a short period of time underwater, similar to how amphibians do so, however this ability is only used by humans as the toads can already breathe underwater.
On land, the technique is also equally useful, as the slimy substance can trap enemies if the engage the user with taijutsu. The user merely has to secrete the substance by converting his chakra into the slime, and an enemy's punches or kicks will sink into the slime which hardens upon contact, trapping the enemy. The user merely has to 'eject' his slime onto the victim, instantly trapping the victim is a solidified mass where they are open to a second attack.
