Transcription Seal(転写封印,Tensha Fūin) is a technique that has the ability to seal a technique of the user's arsenal within a designated Host or object. Upon being sealed, the technique is typically, involuntarily activated whenever the Host when a condition is met; which is predetermined by the user at the moment of sealing. While often being used involuntarily, a skilled user is able to activate it a will. There are several methods to perform this technique; Itachi is shown smearing his blood upon his brother's brow while Kyuzu Hyūga is shown embedding a seal on her kunai.
