Alright everyone, the apps have officially opened for Crowning of Dawn. The apps will close on May 27, so you should already have your characters complete by now. This is just the place to submit the links. Please link to your character, along for the position (if any) you are apping for, in the comments of this blog. Once your character has been accepted, the will be posted by a project reviewer. Please do not add the template yourself.
We are still in need of reviewers to help go through these apps, so please contact Prince and/or me if you are interested in helping out. One last note is to make sure your character meets all the page requirements before linking to them. Good luck all!

There, was that sufficiently dramatic for you all? Anyway, as the title of the blog suggests, the time has finally come for us to begin the Crowning of Dawn FC. (*Gasp,* did he just say FC? Don’t say FC, it’s taboo!!!) Yes. I realize that FC projects on NF have been historically unsuccessful, so I’m going to state up-front what will be different about this particular FC, and what our plan is to actually have it go somewhere.

Nifty eh? Another common way to Romanize vowels is, instead of writing “ā” (cause who has that on their keyboard anyway?) we write “aa.” Two a’s to draw-out the vowel. This can get somewhat confusing when it comes to o’s and u’s though, as for example “nindō” is written “nindou.” And it’s not pronounced oh-u, it’s just “nindō.” Personally I prefer to use the macron system when writing formal articles, as it just seems more concise and professional that way to me, but you can use either.
