Josho first activates the Raining Grace technique, causing the rain around him to form into blunt, pressurized water, giving it considerable force. These raindrop weapons gather together and collide with the opponent head on, sometimes repeatedly, pushing them backwards. They then merge into a torrent of water with greater force, just as Josho summons the Rashomon gate and commands it to open its mouth. The force of the water propels the target into the Rashomon, which then closes and seals them into the other dimension, killing them.
